　　香港當代作家常常以不同語言實驗，試圖擺脫粵語書寫深植於作家、讀者及學界「粵、白」二元分工的刻板印象及負面定位，再建構屬於它的審美特色、語言風格與論述框架。《都市大調與不能漏掉的佳作：論香港粵語書寫》嘗試總結及補充前人觀照當代香港文學粵語書寫作品的視野，將之置於更合適的研究框架，過程中先後觸及崑南、舒巷城、飲江、董啟章、陳浩基、劉綺華筆下跟粵語寫作相關的作品。這可以令粵語書寫作品的特色與價值得到重新審視及定位，更可為未來的相關研究提供重要的研究理論及參考資源。
 
Contemporary Hong Kong writers have long experimented with language, seeking to break free from the entrenched stereotype that positions Cantonese writing within a rigid binary — the assumption that written Cantonese and standard written Chinese each occupy a fixed, separate role in the minds of writers, readers, and scholars alike. Against this negative framing, they have worked to reconstruct Cantonese writing on its own terms, defining its aesthetic character, linguistic style, and critical framework.
Urban Rhythms and Works Not to Be Missed: On Cantonese Writing in Hong Kong seeks to consolidate and expand upon the perspectives of earlier scholars examining contemporary Cantonese literary works in Hong Kong, placing them within a more fitting research framework. In doing so, the book engages with works related to Cantonese writing by Kwan Nam, Shu Hsiang-cheng, Yam Kong, Dung Kai-cheung, Chan Ho-kei, and Lau Yee-wa. This reexamination allows the distinctive qualities and value of Cantonese writing to be reassessed and repositioned — and provides important theoretical grounding and reference resources for future scholarship in the field.
 
作者簡介

陳澤霖

　　文藝評論者及香港文學研究者。現為香港中文大學中文系碩士研究生，曾任《字花》編輯及香港文學特藏研究助理等職務。研究興趣為當代華文新詩、文學語言運用及相關出版現象。近年致力整理香港文學粵語書寫概念，並研究相關論述與實踐。文章散見《字花》、《方圓》、《明報》及《聲韻詩刊》等。
